Salman Sufi, CEO/Founder

Salman is the Founder of the SSF. He is an International Public Sector Reforms and Gender Strategy Specialist, and the driving force behind some of Pakistan’s most progressive gender equality initiatives. In the last four years, he and his team have introduced over 30 historic reforms, including the Punjab Protection of Women Against Violence Act 2016, the first comprehensive legislation of its kind ever passed in Pakistan, Violence Against Women Centers, Women-on-Wheels, Motor Vehicle Camp; Tax reforms and social reforms, including Shehr-e-Khamoshan Model Graveyards and legislations to protect senior citizens and transgender persons.

Hafsah Lak, Director Global Partnerships

Hafsah is our Director Global Partnerships. Hafsah brings in extensive experience and expertise working on gender-based violence as well as women, peace and security initiatives in Pakistan and abroad. She was previously the Project Lead for Pakistan’s first Violence Against Women Center in Multan, and has worked on Countering (and Preventing) Violence Extremism programs in Africa and elsewhere.

Muhammad Mohsin Bhatty, Chief Development Officer

With over two decades of experience, Mr. Mohsin brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His extensive skill set encompasses Sales Management, Brand & Marketing Strategy Development, Integrated Marketing Communication Strategies, New Product Development and Launch, Brand Activation, and Structuring of Modern Marketing Departments.

During his tenure at Panther Tyres and Berger Paints Pakistan Limited, Mr. Mohsin excelled as the Head of Marketing and then National Sales Manager, leaving a lasting impact on the respective organisations. Prior to that, he made valuable contributions at Jotun Pakistan, a renowned Norwegian paint company, where he adeptly managed trade dealership networks and spearheaded the creation of cross-functional teams. Further, he also successfully directed corporate marketing initiatives in Pakistan and the MENA region Kansai Paints. Additionally, Mr. Mohsin possesses a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, and herbal medicine industries.

Mr. Mohsin holds an MBA degree in Marketing Management from the esteemed University of Dallas, Texas, USA. Furthermore, he has attained Master’s degrees in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from reputable local institutions in Pakistan. To stay at the forefront of his field, he actively participates in professional development training programs around the world, where he enhances his knowledge in areas such as Brand Management, Leadership & Management Principles, Team Building, and Sales & Marketing Management.

Ramlah Rehman

Ramlah is the Project Manager of our Women-on-Wheels (WoW) program. She has been involved in the execution of Women-on-Wheels (WoW) program since its inception and has worked on the WoW campaigns in Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad. She has worked closely with different international organizations like UNDP, UN Women, Interloop Limited etc. to execute various projects.

She has previously worked as a fellow at the Strategic Reforms Unit, where she was involved in the execution of successful projects like Violence Against Women Centre and Shahr-e-khamoshan (model graveyard), which have had huge impacts in Pakistan. Ramlah has also assisted in developing protocols and guidelines for SSF’s shelter home project.

Ramlah Rehman has an educational background in Political Science and Media Studies, and brings her project implementation and communication expertise to the team.
